The International Retinal Research Foundation (IRRF) has partnered with The Macula Society to form The Macula Society/IRRF Award. The Award will be in accordance with the Macula Society’s purpose of providing a forum for the presentation and dissemination of the most current and most advanced scientific information and research in retinal vascular and macular diseases. This partnership will provide funds for a total of four Awards per year at $35,000 each for three years.
Membership to The Macula Society is by application, with acceptance criteria including extensive contribution to retinal literature. The Macula Society recognizes outstanding achievement by its members and others through awards and lectures, and holds an annual meeting open to members, their guests, co-authors and supporting company representatives.
